Start your Paddling Journey on the Humber River with Kayak & Canoe Lessons!
Our Kayaking & Canoeing Beginner’s Lesson & Guided Tour is a great way to get into the world of paddling!
Our experienced instructors will provide a brief on-land lesson covering the basics of paddling before you embark on your guided tour of Toronto’s beautiful Humber River where you have the chance to see a huge variety of wildlife such as beavers, blue herons, deer, coyotes, egret, mink, etc.!

Fun for all levels!
INCLUDED:
- A Friendly Instructor/Guide for 8 or fewer boats.
- Brief ~15 Minute on-shore introductory lesson from our experienced instructors.
- 1.5 Hour Guided Tour of Toronto’s beautiful Humber River
- Boat(s), Paddle(s), PFD(s)/“Life Jacket”, Coast Guard Safety Kit.
- Our experienced instructors to help you every step of the way!
Note: If selecting “Bring Your Own” option, no rentals are included. Please bring your own boat and paddling equipment.
WHAT TO BRING?
- Dress for the weather!
- Wear closed-toe athletic footwear you don’t mind getting wet & muddy.
- Sunscreen, sunglasses & hats, are all recommended for sunny days.
- A water bottle.
- Government Issued Photo ID.
MORE INFO
- Anyone under 18 must be accompanied on the water by an adult or legal guardian.
- We have separate lessons for SUP(s) that are scheduled at different times to allow the group to have similar focus and make it easier to learn.
- We Start & Finish this event at our Humber Location, so no need for a shuttle!
- Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early for Check-In to ensure that the group lesson can start on time.
- Waivers Mandatory – sign the online waiver (available through order confirmation) for each attendee.
- Paddlers must be comfortable treading water while wearing a PFD and reaching a shoreline (minimum 20 metres to shore).
