This year we’re heading back to Philip Edward Island in Northern Georgian Bay! Everyone who joined us last year knows the great spots and swimming up there so we’re excited to go back. Below you’ll find information on what to bring, what we’re bringing, details on our route and potential camp sites and more!
Step #1 Confirm your attendance no later than Wednesday July 28th by emailing [email protected] to confirm so Heather can add you to our confirmed attendance list. Please include any dietary restrictions or medical conditions we should know about.
Step #2 Read through the information below which includes where to meet, what to pack, where we’re headed, how to pack and more.
Step #3 Meet at the location below On Time, we will depart no later than 15 minutes past the listed meeting time.

What To Bring & How To Pack
How to pack: You have very minimal space in your boat to store your gear. All of your gear minus your sleeping bag and sleeping pad must fit into a dry sac the size of the Red ones at the Humber Site. Your sleeping bag and pad must fit into the bulkheads like the ones on the Sea Kayaks we use on site. If you don’t have a sleeping bag use doubled up garbage bags.
Money or Packed Lunch for Ride Up
Any medications you may need
1x Sleeping Bag Rated to 8 Celcius
1x Sleeping Mat (Not Required though recommended)
1x Rain Jacket
1x Bug Spray
1x Water Shoes/Sandals
1x Sweater (Polyester or Wool Recommended)
1x Water Bottle
1x Lightweight Pants
Philip Edward Island
Philip Edward Island is located on the North end of Georgian Bay just south of Killarney Provincial Park. Made up of of 1 large island surrounded by hundreds of smaller islands Philip Edward Island is know as one of the best Sea Kayaking locations in the world!
