When do we cancel events due to weather?
Toronto’s weather systems are complex and often fast moving. Our administrative team works with several weather reporting companies in order to best predict incoming weather systems that may cause us to cancel an event. Just because there is rain predicted for the day of your event does not mean that it will be raining during your event as Toronto’s weather systems move in and out very quickly. If we feel that your event is going to be rained out our our admin team will do our best to contact you via the email address you provided when booking to let you know as soon as possible that your event has been cancelled and you will receive a full refund. Note: We do not cancel events if there are mild showers forecasted.
If there is a rain storm predicted on the day of your paddle feel free to contact our office at 416 536 2067 or email us at Info@TorontoAdventures.ca and we’ll let you know what the status is of your event.
How old must someone be to participate?
Anyone under the age of 18 must have an Parent/Guardian accompany them at all times. If the Parent/Guardian does not wish to paddle themselves they must be on-shore watching their child paddle who is not allowed to go further than shouting distance.
Single Kayak – Min 8 Years of age.
