With our TA Summer Day Camp our goal is to get your kids educated and excited about the Outdoors which will stick with them and benefit them for years to come!
How it Works
Meet & Greet: Drop off time is 8:30am – 9:00am every morning at our TA Humber Location, only a 5-minute walk from Old Mill TTC Station right here in Toronto’s West End, from there we start our day’s activities. Click Here to view the Full Week Schedule
Note: We will have one of our TA Camp Staff at Old Mill Station from 8:30 – 8:45 every morning to greet any of the kids who wish to be picked up right from the station.
Education: Every day our experienced staff start with a beginner lesson that goes over the Fundamentals and Safety of the activity we’ve planned for the day which include Kayaking, Canoeing, SUP, Hiking, Horseback Riding and more!
Lunch: We provide everything with the exception of Lunch & Snacks due to the complications of today’s allergies & diets. We ask that lunch and snacks are sent each day and contain No Nuts. We generally eat a picnic lunch close by to or during the activity we’ve planned for that day. Please be sure to send a full bottle of water every day which we will refill throughout the day!
Transportation to Activities: Any transportation from our Humber Location to activities will be via walking, local transit or one of our TA Adventure Busses.
Pick Up: We will be returning every day to our Humber Location at 4:30, where you are welcome to pick up your children anytime between 4:30 and 5:00pm. Our extended care program allows for a 5:30pm late pick up for a cost of $15/ per day as needed. Any late pickups will be charged the extended care rate of $15/30 Min.
Rainy Days & Bad Weather: In the case of extremely rainy days or bad weather that will prevent us from our planned activities, we have a variety of alternatives including The Ontario Science Center, Indoor Climbing, Bowling and more! All provided at no extra cost to you.
Here at Toronto Adventures we consider safety as our number one priority. All of our TA Staff are first aid certified and have lots of experience and training working in outdoor recreation and with children. We’ve introduced thousands of people to the exciting world of Outdoor Recreation over the past ten years. Life-jackets can be provided to any campers that do not know how to swim when in the swimming pool. Life-jackets, provided and must be worn while participating in all of our out of pool water sports.
